"Behold, how good and pleasant it is
when brothers dwell in unity!" Psalm 133:1
Unity, peace, togetherness- these are things that are to some degree or other desired by all peoples. While there can be periods of unity and peace in the world at certain times, it is often short lived and far from perfect. Sadly, this often the case in the church as well. We should strive for peace and unity in our congregations and celebrate it when we have this "good and pleasant" experience which is truly unearthly!
We must keep our focus and identity on Christ and His gospel in order to achieve any level of the peace promised us. This Lord's Day, Pastor John Divito will be preaching, "The Unifying Gospel" from Galatians 3:26-29. Pray for heavenly peace to descend upon the churches of God as they worship together this Sunday.
