"We are not Reformed if we wear the label at all because Luther and Calvin and Zwingli and Bucer and the boys are our heroes. If we are genuinely Reformed, it is because we believe 'Reformed' to be a suitable nickname, an adequate summary, of what the Bible teaches about key points of doctrine, and about a particular world and life view." Thabiti Anyabwile.
This Lord's Day is Reformation Sunday. While there will be some emphasis on this by singing certain hymns and highlighting certain themes in the sermon, it will be like any other Lord's Day at Cornerstone. Our gathering will center around the Word of God. We will sing it, pray it, read it, teach it and hear it preached. Tomorrow we will hear Pastor Kevin Roberts preach from Titus 3:4-7, "Sola Opero Dei". The gospel will be celebrated as revealed to us in scripture. In essence, every Lord's Day is Reformation Sunday at Cornerstone Fellowship! May all the glory be to God alone!
